Clubs
All the clubs in Norfolk welcome guests. It is just a case of finding the right sort of club for you.
All the clubs play duplicate bridge where everyone plays the same set of hands and you are scored on your relative perfomance. Typically the sessions run for 3 hours and the cost is usually around £3 for a guest

These clubs have been started with the specific intention of giving those new to the game a relaxed and gentle introduction to playing duplicate bridge in a club

Meaning that they are outside the EBU network and are generally less competitive in nature but that does not mean that they have a lower standard of players but that they offer a more relaxed and informal approach If you have played "kitchen bridge" ie with friends at home or have just learnt, then this is a good place to enter the bridge club world

Meaning they are part of the English Bridge Union (EBU) network of clubs Typically more competitive as members compete for Master Points and appear on a National Grading Scheme showing relative rankings of all the players in the country.

Easier than you think All you need is some like minded people who live nearby and a venue that could be your own home to start with

The University of the 3rd Age (U3A) have various options available for those who would like to play bridge
